Light into multiplicity beginnings
The inspiration for the light installation ‘Light into Multiplicity Beginnings’ is derived from the perpetual cycles of the four seasons, mirroring the ceaseless rhythms of the universe where all things persistently regenerate without end. As elements continuously repeat and cycle, they showcase the continuity and agency of life. This underscores the diversity and fluidity of existence, with these processes of change, differentiation, and repetition giving rise to the dynamic and interconnected aspects of nature and the cosmos.
The artwork ‘Light into Multiplicity Beginnings’ is composed of an arrangement of circular light halos, where the circle symbolizes the infinite and non-repeating nature of the mathematical constant π (pi). Its decimal expansion can extend indefinitely without recurring, echoing the cyclical flow of space through the repetitive arrangement. This installation employs light and circular forms as universal conduits between entities, illustrating the interconnection between various elements. Each light halo pulsates with light, perpetually cycling and repeating, symbolizing the independent systems communicating between the upper and lower realms. This imagery represents rebirth and recurrence, constructing a portrayal of nature that is organic, dynamic, boundless, and eternal.

光而復始
「光而復始」燈光裝置靈感來自於四季周而復始、循環不息，正如宇宙萬物生生不息、永無止盡。萬物不斷地重複循環，具有生命的延續性和能動性，並強調了萬物的多樣和變化，而這些變化、差異和重複的過程形成了自然和宇宙的動態和有機的部分與整體。「光而復始」作品由圓形光環陣列組成，以圓象徵圓周率π是一個無限不循環小數，它的小數部分可以一直延續直到無限長，通過重複排列來呼應空間的循環流動性。裝置運用光與環形，作為事物與事物間貫通連接的宇宙通道，每個光環都呈現光的脈動，且不斷地循環和重複，象徵上部與下部溝通的獨立體系，用來表示重生與循環，共構出一種自然、動態有機且無窮無極、生生不息的意象。
